10 Easy Fourth of July Decorating Ideas

10 Easy Fourth of July Decorating Ideas

It’s getting to be that time of year where the sound of fireworks is common, the smell of charcoal wafts through the air, and red, white and blue drape the stoops of houses, apartments, and business across the country. It’s about to be the Fourth of July, the quintessential American holiday about family, appreciating our pretty awesome country, and getting as patriotic as we possibly can get.

Most of us would love to spend hours coming up with creative ways to show off our American pride, but we’d rather spend time enjoying the summer (heck, after this winter we deserve this!)

To make your pad stand out this Fourth of July, we have compiled some of our favorite decorating ideas with a mix of both DIY ideas and products you can purchase. If you have a cool idea, be sure to share in the comments.

The streets are covered in red, white and blue and firework stands are poppin’ up everywhere. That can only mean one thing – the Fourth of July is upon us. Full of flags, sparklers, grills and burgers, it’s the time when families, friends and strangers unite to celebrate the grandness of this country. Patriotic displays of affection abound. But to guarantee that your holiday celebration is truly “patriotic”, have you been checkin’ where your products are made?

When searching for some American garb I struggled to find products that were made in America, and I thought it would be helpful to share my flag finds with y’all.  Below are some American flag manufacturers that we stumbled across.

Flagstuff:

A team of passionate flagmakers with a history of production, Flagstuff’s products extend far beyond the American flag. Flagstaff was recently purchased by one of the largest suppliers of flags to the US Government, US Flag & Signal, located in Portsmouth, VA.

Annin Flagmakers:

A family business that’s been makin’ flags since 1847! Their flags pepper well-known institutions and help represent the greatness of our country.

Peruse their offerings and learn more about their organization here: http://www.annin.com/products/all_products.asp

Valley Forge Flag:

Founded in 1882, Valley Forge is still a 100% family-owned business. Also offering a variety of flags, Valley Forge Flags manufactures all products here in the USA.

Check out what Valley Forge has to offer here: http://www.valleyforgeflag.com/36/100-made-in-the-usa.htm

We hope that you find the right flag for your home this year, and that you have a safe and happy holiday weekend.

Happy Fourth!
